Hemagiri Falls

Scenic natural attraction formed around the Hemavathi River. A hill surrounded by the river has a Venkataramanaswamy temple. The district administration states that it is 8 km east of K.R. Pete town. An anicut built across the Hemavathi in 1880 is another notable feature.
