Balamuri

Balamuri is a scenic tourist destination on the right bank of the Kaveri River in Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya District. It is known for the Balamuri Anicut, where the Kaveri flows over the curved barrage to form the popular Balamuri Falls. The area also has the historic Agasthyeshwara Temple, dating to the pre-Chola period.
