Ancient Shri Karighatta Srinivasa Temple is a historic Lord Srinivasa (Venkataramana) temple situated on Karighatta Hill near Srirangapatna. The hill rises about 2,697 feet and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape and the confluence of the Kaveri and Lokapavani rivers. The temple was built during the period of the Mysore kings and is an important religious and tourist attraction.
